Our client Network Personnel was established in 1989 to address the skills and employment needs of those living in the Magherafelt area. Since then it has won and successfully delivered several major training programmes. With a staff team of 80+ it is now a major employer in its own right. Network Personnel is currently one of the top performers in Northern Ireland in terms of Back to Work/employability initiatives.
Their major key strength is the expertise of the team who work in the company. The company has a very low staff turnover with a strong emphasis on Continuous Personal Development. Staff are committed and enthusiastic about their work and those who are client facing have a strong empathy with their target groups.
As a result of continued growth and ongoing development they wish to appoint a suitably experienced Administrator for the JobPath Programme that has recently been launched across Ireland.
Use a bespoke computerised system to input data, generate reports and compile statistics
Typing up CV’s and assisting clients with Application forms
Collate, calculate and organize payments of travel and other expenses
Ensure appropriate financial/administration controls and company procedures are followed
Use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents.
Ensure all statistical data and financial records are maintained in accordance with funding body requirements and that clear audit trails exist.
Provide administrative support to other members of the team ensuring that records and statistical information is readily available.
Liaise with staff in other departments and with external contacts
Order and maintain stationery and equipment supplies
Any other general admin duties required
Minimum of 6 months recent experience of working in an office environment
Minimum of 6 months experience of using Microsoft Excel, Access or other bespoke package to manipulate data and generate reports
Qualifications – Junior Certificate standard Maths and English
Capacity to work well under pressure in a busy, varied environment.
Organised, systematic and flexible with good time management skills and ability to multi-task
Good communication and interpersonal skills – oral and written. An excellent telephone manner is particularly important
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Self-motivated and ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
