Your new role
As a finance professional, you will be empowered to achieve new levels of excellence and make a profound and personal impact as you contribute to new innovations in a vital and complex system. Responsibilities will include: maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports; reconcile, analyse and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close; prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles. prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits; perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation, analyse and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position, assist with or lead the month end quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groups and other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance related subject or equivalent, a minimum 2 years’ accounting experience within a multinational organizational environment and 1 years’ experience with multi-currency accounting.
You will have a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements, be able to communicate in an effective manner, collaborate with peers to complete projects, demonstrate the drive and motivation to deliver high quality results based on thorough analysis and possess sound business knowledge and strong decision making skills
What you’ll get in return
You will work for one of the world’s leading companies on a contract basis for an initial 6 months. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm on a Friday.
