Our client is one of the world’s largest suppliers of Caterpillar construction, earthmoving, quarrying, mining and power systems equipment. They are now looking for a number of Engineering Apprentices to join their team.
Working with cutting-edge technology, you’ll train to become a Caterpillar Qualified Engineer with nationally recognised qualifications, leading to a long-lasting, rewarding career in one of our client’s workshops and Field Service Teams.
As an Engineering Apprentice, you will be tasked with completing our client’s comprehensive apprenticeship scheme, lasting up to four years.
In this engaging role, you’ll receive outstanding training at our client’s state-of-the-art academy in Cannock, Staffordshire.
You’ll be trained to service some of the biggest, hardest working machines and engines around, by the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. During your apprenticeship, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to put your skills into practice whilst working alongside one of our client’s experienced teams in branches across Ireland and the UK.
You’ll work for the best, and you’ll be the best.
Are you excited yet? To become an Engineering Apprentice, you must have:
– A genuine interest in, and/or an aptitude for, engineering
– A good level of IT literacy
– At a minimum, GCSEs or a Junior Certificate (or equivalent) in Maths, English and a Science-based subject at grade C or above
Please note, the deadline for applications is 5th April 2016. The starting date for this role will be in September 2016.
If you successfully pass the first stage of the application process, you will be asked to complete an online test, which must be completed by 12th April 2016. If you successfully pass this stage, you will be invited to attend an assessment day at our client’s centre in Cannock, Staffordshire, between 25th April 2016 – 2nd May 2016.
