Chartered Accountants Ireland (the Institute) is an all-island professional body representing members throughout the globe. Its mission is to educate, represent, support and regulate members in practice, industry and the public sector.
With a clearly defined strategy to ensure the continuing success of the profession in the future, Chartered Accountants Ireland is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive (CEO), whose ambition matches its own, to provide clear leadership and direction to Chartered Accountants Ireland and Accounting Technicians Ireland on behalf of Council.
The CEO will have the requisite experience and skills to drive growth while ensuring that the Institute’s core values remain at the heart of everything it does. They will have a desire to speak out on issues of importance to members and the wider business community. The CEO will relish the opportunity to provide leadership to the senior team and serve as the central link between Council and management, while maintaining a positive organisational culture.
Accordingly, suitable candidates will have the necessary leadership, skills, professionalism, integrity, qualifications and background to comprehend fully the nature of the business, ideally coupled with an appropriate professional or post-graduate qualification.
