Digital Marketing Manager – Home based + Office in Dundalk- Full Time Permanent

Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Manager who will be responsible to develop, implement, track and optimize the digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. According to the candidate’s experience and ambitions, he/she will be given the opportunity to lead specific projects and can anticipate working as a team member in the marketing team. 

In addition, the candidate will contribute to the broader corporate marketing efforts led by the “Head of Marketing” and ensure alignment of the digital marketing plan with the overall marketing plan. The candidate is expected to be part of the Digital Team, consisting of e.g. graphic designers, content and editorial team members to produce the needed digital contents.

This position will be primarily based from home with working 1-2 days pw in the office based in Dundalk.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all web, SEO, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.

The candidate will be supervised by and will work alongside the “Head of Marketing”. Based on half yearly appraisals, the candidate will be given the opportunity to take part in training as and when required. 

Qualifications and Experience 

The candidate will live and breathe digital marketing and have a background in digital marketing and social media. Further requirements are

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas).
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns, LinkedIn Advertising campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Experience in management of a digital marketing budget.
  • The candidate will have fluency in the English language.

The candidate will be eager to learn and be able to work independently as well as being part of a team. 

Other Information

Hours: 40hrs

Salary: €30-35,000

This position will be primarily based from home with working 1-2 days pw in the office based in Dundalk.
