Are you looking for an opportunity to work in an innovative and exciting team within a leading UK and Ireland charity, whilst developing your management and fundraising skills?
This is a fantastic opportunity within the RNLI to play a vital role in developing and growing the RNLI in-house Face-to-Face Fundraising team. This role will be required to manage a team of face-to-face fundraisers, to sign up regular supporters within a defined geographical area and raise vital long-term funding for the charity. This will include opportunities to work alongside other specialist teams including our volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards.
The role focuses on generating the funds that support our lifesaving service, and the successful candidate will have an integral part to play in reaching both local and team income targets.
Working at the frontline of our fundraising activities this role requires excellent communication skills, people management capabilities, proven track record of working to targets and a passion to manage a team who engage with the beach-going public and event visitors to get their commitment for regular support for the cause.
The RNLI is keen to engage with highly motivated candidates who can offer strong fundraising skills, creativity and a passion for maximising supporter involvement and income generation. Proven experience and success in face-to-face fundraising are essential requirements to be considered for this role. This will either have been gained working for a charity or a fundraising agency.
As a Face to Face Manager you will be primarily overseeing Northern Ireland and identifying opportunities to expand the campaign throughout the Republic of Ireland. You will be required to complete extensive travel throughout Northern Ireland, some travel through the Republic of Ireland and more widely when required and will hold a valid driving licence.
This role will be home based within Northern Ireland. Interested candidates must have flexibility to work evenings and weekend work is essential particularly throughout the summer months.
