Our client is looking to complement their existing team with the appointment of a Field Sales/Account Executive with experience of technical sales and ideally experience of working in a  Work wear and Safety Equipment environment.

As Field Sales Executive/Account Executive, your main function will be to look after existing client accounts across Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland. You will also be the first point of contact for client queries and sales and will therefore play a key role in the growth of the customer portfolio, making a measured contribution to lead generation and having input into account development.

Some of your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing the first line response to all client queries/problems and giving technical guidance wherever possible.

  • Seeking to understand the needs of customers, you will build effective relationships to maximise revenue with up-selling techniques and ensure queries and issues are resolved quickly.

  • Review and follow-up on the sales leads, identify key points-of-contact and effectively negotiate with customers in order to increase sales

  • Maintaining accurate customer databases, ensuring key lead information is documented.

  • Keeping up-to-date with the company’s products and services to ensure an optimised sales process.

  • Communicating with management and internal teams to ensure the smooth functionality of the sales cycle.

    To be considered for this exciting role you must have:

  • Experience in a similar Field Sales/Account Executive role ideally with exposure to technical sales and an Work wear / Safety Equipment Market

  • Awareness of local Construction Hire market.

  • Computer literate in Excel and CRM systems.

  • Full clean driving licence.

  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales process and managing a sales pipeline and following up on sales leads.

  • You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, and strong client facing skills and a demonstrated ability in strong attention to detail is key.
