Our client has multiple hotel properties situated in a historic part of South Donegal offering relaxed hospitality combined with a quality service.
Renowned for their friendly approach these hotels have a solid reputation of offering excellent service time and time again.
They are now seeking to appoint an experienced Sales & Marketing Manage to join and lead their ever-growing team.

Role profile:
The person appointed will be responsible for the day to day management of the sales, marketing and revenue Team. The key is to achieve all budgets across all segments (corporate, conference, wedding, leisure and Tours) through proactively driving the sales functions.
The role involves implementing a structured sales and marketing planning approach and managing the teams to deliver the budgeted results. The role is responsible for the planning, tracking and reporting of revenue, sales & marketing activity.

Duties & Responsibilities:
To implement structured sales, marketing and revenue planning approach.
To run the Sales Office/train and implement new systems to encourage new business.
To actively identify revenue maximisation opportunities and direct / recommend how hotels should react.
To monitor each hotel’s online systems to ensure the correct management/pricing practices are in place to maximise business including OTAs, own website and agents.
To measure ROI on marketing spend and report success on each activity through website performance, google analytics, 3rd Party sites and social Media.
To manage the websites and maximise the opportunities through the results generated in forecasting and the marketing/demand calendar.
To co-ordinate tactical campaigns seasonally in association with the sales teams.
Weekly Yield Management meetings which to discuss items such as previous week performance and three-month forecast.
To ensure that the hotel/s are using all tactical and promotional rates as required which are priced correctly and leaded properly through all distribution channels.
To be involved in the planning, production and execution of a rate management programme that generates occupancy and maximum rate.
To be aware of competition and market trends to support the sales team in generating future business and encourage repeat business.
To attend Trade shows and build relationships with Tour Operators, Conference Incentive Organisers.
To place adverts in press/social media and compile brochures and Marketing Materials to assist in the selling of the Hotels products and events.

Criteria:
Suitable applicants will have significant experience (ideally 2-3 years+) working in a busy pressurised Sales Environment and again significant experience (ideally 2 years+) working in the Hotel business ideally in a similar role.
Those with experience in Hotel Booking Systems such as ‘Room Master’ would find themselves at an advantage.
