Our client is a specialist organisation working in a very niche industry and have a team of very experienced staff working with specific technology. They are a provider of digital solutions specifically designed for this particular industry.
The company exploits opportunities for new technology that will improve service delivery and communication in their sector and have developed products and services for their industry such as utilising mobile technology, focussing on real time information and analytics to understand issues and trends. Their business depends on cutting edge technology to stay competitive.
As Junior Project Manager on an exciting European project, you will play an important role in growing exposure and engagement within our target markets. Coordinating all digital media and communications, you will ultimately be responsible for the growth of digital subscribers (CRM, email, Facebook, twitter etc). Therefore, you must possess an interest in social engagement with young people. Specifically, you will possess strong digital communication skills, and a flair for all areas of social media. This role has significant scope to create and develop new and interesting campaigns and initiatives which will drive engagement and customer awareness.
The role is initially for 18 months, with a possible extension.
Responsibilities – (Key Areas):
Manage the company’s social media sites and website, including writing content, making regular updates etc.
Monitor website and social media analytics.
Design, co-ordinate and monitor all digital communications, including email marketing.
Assist the development team with interaction techniques over social media sites.
Deal with online PR.
Create and implement external media, clients and partners list, and partnership strategy.
Conduct market research and marketing campaigns.
Improve marketing efforts such as SEM (search engine marketing) and display advertising.
Support creative teams such as content creation and content strategy for emails and blogs.
Coordinate with products (online and offline), membership strategies, and other internal teams to work together.
Improve your knowledge everyday with both online and offline tutorials to keep abreast of digital marketing strategies.
Various administrative and marketing duties across digital content and social media, such as: Copy writing for website and social media platforms; building followers on social media channels; promoting press releases through social media; researching and contributing to content and marketing plans.
Analytical reporting on social media and online marketing performance, recommending improvement strategies where needed.
Meeting relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy.
Devising possible solutions to anticipated problems.
Drive brand awareness.
Job Requirements – (Knowledge, Skills, Experience):
We are looking for a Junior who possesses:
Solid educational background and academic performance.
Previous experience in on-line development or marketing
A real flair in all areas of design and social media experience is also required – mainly but not exclusively; Twitter, Facebook, Periscope, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr, and Snapchat.
Knowledge of web analytics and other tools for identifying opportunities for improvement.
The role, and the range of duties are extremely varied, so you must be very flexible.
A demonstrable interest in social engagement with young people to exercise their rights, with extensive knowledge in the use of social media to do so.
You must be willing to travel within the UK and Europe
