Junior Quantity Surveyor – Graduate Opportunity
Killybrone, Co. Monaghan (office/field based, with travel to customer sites across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe)

Specialising in partition systems, ceilings and bespoke solutions, our client is a market-leader in the interior fit out and external façades sectors with a turnover of over £60 million. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
With over 20 years’ industry experience, our client has worked on many landmark projects and their expertise spans over multiple sectors, providing the ideal environment in which to increase your skill-set and knowledge.
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll work with the QS Team on projects throughout Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe worth up to the value of £10 million.
In this exciting role, you’ll learn from a network of qualified and experienced industry leaders. Once you’ve completed your training, you may have the opportunity to travel further afield and work on additional projects throughout Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.
Specifically, you will:
– Assist with the tendering process and build up price rates on project drawings
– Use the Integrated Management System throughout all stages of a project
– Under the guidance of the Senior Quantity Surveyor, monitor and control all stages of your designated projects within budget and expenditure
– Measure and value variations of work during a contract
– Ensure that project requirements are met and customer satisfaction is achieved
Interested? Whilst no experience is required, to be considered, you will need a degree (or equivalent) in quantity surveying, building surveying, construction management or construction economics. Strong communication skills and a great eye for detail are also key.
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges. Enthusiastic and proactive, you’ll also have excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational abilities.
