Key Account Manager
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a:
Key Account Manager (Engineering)
Do you have a technical sales background in Engineering, Steel or Metals selling?
Competitive Salary and Bonus Package to include a fully expensed company car.
To develop and grow a portfolio of both live and potential new accounts, selling all products and services in accordance with key business plans and budgets, to ultimately increase both customer and market penetration and market share.
Typically this position will be 80% based on the road and 1 day a week in the office.
Develop a solid Key account customer base.
Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to targets set.
Regular reviewing customer performance against target.
Planning & prioritising activities to maximise productivity.
Build a multi market business perspective and cross selling opportunities.
Act as an exemplar salesperson and present a professional image at all times.
Handle customer complaints appropriately.
Offer guidance and advise as required.
Comfortable and competent selling to Director level.
Building long term sustainable and profitable customer relations.
