Maintenance Engineer (maintenance technician)
Vickerstock is working in partnership with a creative food manufacturing and production organisation that is embarking upon a period of substantial growth and development. Working within their highly automated production facility in Monaghan the maintenance engineer is crucial to the upkeep of the machinery and facility.
The successful maintenance engineer with is responsible for completing maintenance and repairs within target times and without rework following all published procedures and policies. Carrying out the requirements of the planned preventative maintenance program. Installing new machinery and equipment accurately and efficiently, within required timescales. When required the maintenance engineer will disseminate knowledge and experience to other Service personnel. Ensures tool kit meets ‘minimum requirements’ and personal and Company supplied tooling is maintained to the appropriate standards
Maintenance Engineer: Criteria
The maintenance engineer will ideally be a time served apprenticeship (4 years) in electrical, Mechatronic or electrical maintenance discipline. Min 3 years post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of DC drives and controls
