Procurement Manager – North West, Construction
Expert Construction are working in conjunction with their North West based client to recruit aProcurement Manager to work within their Housebuilding division. This is a permanent role an our client are offering a fantastic remuneration package to the successful candidate.
ROLE – PROCUREMENT MANAGER – Subcontractors
The job holder will be responsible for the procurement of Sub Contractors and will provide efficient support to our Project Management team through a wide variety of skills and experience. The applicant will have a minimum of 3 years experience in the sector, a clear understanding of the processes involved in Commercial Construction and associated trades and a broad understanding of construction plant and machinery and associated inventories/maintenance. Experience in managing stock, just in time delivery, logistics and reduction of site waste and the ability to formulate supplier relationships, and bring value engineering / discount opportunities is essential. Understanding of quantities and take off is necessary. The ability to judge quality and value is a priority.
It is expected that this person will come from a QS background and will seenk to specialise in Sub Contractor procurement.
Full driving licence and own car required.
