The job is based in Drogheda and will pay €50,000.

Tell me more about the job:
Interfacing between the Engineering and Production departments the Quality Manager will ensure finished product adheres and conforms stringently to domestic and international GMP and Quality standards. Overseeing 3-4 production lines and 7 staff you will lead the QA department having responsibility for the management of several quality systems including investigations, corrective actions, change control and continuous improvement. You will manage the QA team efficiently through effective recruitment and ongoing training to meet business needs and ultimately reduce customer complaints. Where complaints arise you will take ownership and implement swift corrective remedial action ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Is this the job for you:
If you are a Quality Manager with a 3rd level qualification in an Engineering or Science related discipline and a minimum 3 years’ experience in a FMCG or Pharma setting then yes this could certainly be the job for you. You will need to be a self-starter with excellent motivational and organizational skills. If you have previously set up, maintained and developed Quality Systems within a FMCG/Pharma environment this would definitely equip you with the skills to make this job a success. You will be process driven, leaving nothing to chance and with impeccable attention to detail as you will be central to the auditing process as well as ensuring total adherence to the industry’s strict rules and regulations.
