Salary – CIRCA £27-30k DOE
Hours are full time
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the agricultural sector and are now seeking to appoint a QS with an immediate start.
You will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the projects, including; contracts, procurement, administration, cash fow, risk and opportunity management, and cost control.
Preparation & management of the project budget.
Prepare bills of quantities.
Responsibility for final accounts.
Conduct project measurements on a weekly basis.
Value and agree the cost of any variations.
Prepare cost, value and reconciliation monthly reports on each development.
Liaise with purchasing / buying for specialist providers.
Attend internal hand-over meetings.
Maintain working relationships with the site team and on-site teams.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Quantity Surveying (2:1 or above) with at least 2 years of experience working in a contract or manufacturing background. You will be computer literate, and will have experience of relevant software.
A working background or knowledge of the agriculture sector is highly sought after.
