Contract (1st Nov. 2016 – 30th Apr. 2017)
Salary Circa €20,000 PA (Pro-rata) + possible bonus on achievement of target
Core working hours 9.30am – 5.30pm Mon – Fri
Our client is a long standing and reputable publication, locally owned and staffed, and independent of all media groups. They currently have an opening for a temporary Sales Executive within their Advertising Department.
This role is predominantly office based and will involve selling advertising space. The successful candidate will be part of a four-person sales team, working to a pre-set structure and achieving daily and weekly targets.
Experience in sales is necessary
Knowledge of Donegal and the Northwest business community is an advantage
The ideal candidate will be required to maintain strong relationships with existing clients, source new clients
Must have good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and targets
Must work well under pressure
Candidate will be required to present weekly ideas on potential advertisers and advertising features
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Email packages is required
Must have Full Drivers Licence and access to a car
Closing date for this role is Friday 7th October 2016
