Software Sales Executive

Do you have the ability to quickly develop strong business relationships and place high value on the customer experience? Are you persuasive with a natural ability to explain a concept that speaks directly to your audience?  Wellington IT are searching for a talented Sales Executive to join their team.

You will sell the most successful range of Credit Union software in Ireland, currently moving billions of euro each year and managing funds for more than 1 in 4 Irish people. Our customers use our software to power every aspect of their financial services business from savings and loans, through to business intelligence, online banking, mobile apps, debit card services and ATMs.

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets by partnering with our existing Credit Union customer base to identify opportunities to better support their operations through a true understanding of their business. You will be working with them to continuously understand their challenges, operations and membership service strategies, then work to expand their account by delivering products and services offerings to meet these needs.

Additionally, this role will also require you to accurately forecast revenue opportunities and track sales metrics using Salesforce. As a product expert, you will be preparing and delivering compelling product demos and answering detailed product questions.

You will bring expert account management experience and an exceptional ability to develop lasting customer relations. Your previous experience and strong strategic-thinking ability will assist you in developing territory plans and strategies to grow our existing accounts. Your drive to succeed will enable you to effectively manage and grow multiple accounts at once. 


Key requirements to be successful in this position are:

  • At least 3 years of successful account management experience with full knowledge of the software sales cycle, complex product selling and dealing with top decision makers.

  • Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.

  • A demonstrated past record of achieving results

  • Strong planning and organisational skills

  • Ability to work effectively in all situations and environments including in a team, solo, on the road, tradeshows, customer sites, and with people of all skill and knowledge levels.

  • A full driving license. The role will include significant travel within Ireland and occasional international travel to corporate meetings.

  • Part of a global Company, the jobholder may be required to work unsocial hours to meet contractual and departmental demands.
