Your new company
You will be joining a leading producer of their product in Ireland. The company have won over 140 awards since the 1940’s both nationally and internationally. They are renowned for their quality, consistency and innovative recipes. The company are now recruiting for a Trainee Production Manager.
Your new role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you have full responsibility for the 80 employees on the production floor. You will manage the production process from planning raw materials to delivering the product to the customer in the most efficient and effective way. The Trainee Production Manager will be involved in developing and maintaining KPI’s for their team ensuring company targets are reached. In addition you will be involved in developing continuous improvement initiatives for the department and promoting the company’s Health and Safety policy throughout the factory floor. Furthermore you will be involved in other projects which are required from the Production Manager.
What you’ll need to succeed
You previous experience of working within a high volume manufacturing environment will lead to your success. Candidates are welcomed from a graduate background who are looking to develop their career within a food manufacturing environment. You will have good people management skills and the willingness to develop and learn and manufacturing process.
What you’ll get in return
You will be rewarded with a salary of around £28,500 depending upon your experience. This is a trainee management role where you can develop and enhance your skills and knowledge of a high volume manufacturing environment. There will be excellent opportunities for management positions after the project has finished.
