Our client has been in existence over 20 years and provide and an unrivalled forest and tree management service across Ulster North and South of the border.
The company specialises in forest and tree management, including dangerous tree removal, site clearance, tree felling and surgery, scrub and brush clearance and spraying, forestry consultancy, planting and much more.
They have an impressive and extensive client list, which includes private, commercial and public sector customers. As a result of continued growth, they are now seeking to recruit new team members
The role will include tree surveying, climbing, cutting and assessment to relevant standards but also relaying of subsequent information to clients. You will also be required to carry out remedial actions to trees, based on surveys.
There is a mixture of elements to this job and part from the physical side you will also be required to complete a range of required paperwork for each job.
This role requires someone who has a can-do attitude.
You should be able to demonstrate attention to detail and have strong listening skills.
You should have a clean and full driver’s license. C1 or similar may be an advantage.
An ideal candidate will have previous relevant experience in forestry work and ideally have NPTC-certified training such as 30, 31, 38, & 39 and Woodchipper Operation training certification.
You should hold a valid Safe Pass or equivalent (CSCS or CSR card) and a valid up to date manual handling qualification.
Those with specific qualifications in arboriculture, forest management and safety such as such as ND in Arboriculture and who have a first aid qualification are of particular interest.
Please note this is a physically demanding role.
